Miss Nancy

Nancy Wanzong

Nancy Wanzong's dramatic storytelling programs combine traditional and modern tales with puppets and audience participation. Since 1992, when she was a Youth Services Librarian, Nancy has delighted children in the Richmond, VA area with her stories. She has performed at daycares, schools, libraries, birthday parties, restaurants, museums, festivals, and on public radio. Recently she has added story telling for adult audiences to her repertoire focusing on family stories and folk tales.

Miss Nancy was one of the 2015 New Voices at the Stone Soup Festival in Woodruff, S.C. In 2015 and 2016 she was one of the Showcase tellers at the Virginia Storytelling Gathering.

Miss Nancy is also happy to customize her program to fit your curriculum.
